PAFE Reach
Program Areas
PAFE implements its programs through the focalization of activities in specific geographic areas and communities. The implementation is grounded in what we call “Communities of Excellence in five core program areas: Education, Leadership, IT and Training, Citizenship and Service Learning, and Social Mobilization.” Universities and community serving organizations serve as centers of excellence. In developing programs, PAFE builds alliances and partnerships with these universities, community organizations, civil society, government and private sector institutions.
The core programs are currently being developed and implemented in many countries in Africa but for our 2011 action plan, we are only focusing on Tanzania, Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya, Liberia, and South Africa.
