Born in Uganda, Mpambara-Cox lived in Kenya and Tanzania as a child. She graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth with a double major BSC in Economics and International Relations. She also holds an International MBA awarded jointly by Cairo University, Egypt and Georgia State University, Atlanta. Prior to founding MCF, she worked for the U.S. State Department overseas in Argentina, Sierra Leone, Egypt, and The Bahamas.

Anita Mpambara-Cox is the founder and president of the Mpambara-Cox Foundation (MCF), an organization dedicated to advancing global understanding. MCF operates several initiatives in Africa and the United States. MCF initiatives are aimed at creating authentic platforms upon which diverse people can be aligned in global partnerships that bring about progress.

Mpambara-Cox has designed and directed programs that have positively impacted thousands of beneficiaries in support of the Millennium Development Goals aimed at ending poverty and building global partnerships. Impoverished school children in Uganda have seen their welfare improve through the provision of daily meals, scholastic materials, clean drinking water and hosting American teachers. A unique and strategic microfinance program has partnered American women with African women through a loan program that raises households out of poverty while American women learn about the absolute poverty that they are helping alleviate.

Hawa Barry-Diallo, former West African model, is from the Republic of Guinea. Since stepping down from modeling to start her own family, she utilized her fame as a former model to bring attention to her place of birth and women’s issues. In order to bring attention to the beautiful culture of her country, promote tourism, and encourage leadership, she created NIMBA Entertainment Inc., an event production company with a primary focus on promoting West African cultures in general and Guinean cultures in particular. As a philanthropist who believes in the spirit of giving and helping others, she founded “The NIMBA Foundation.” Mrs. Barry-Diallo is also the business manager of EZ REHAB Solutions, an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Greenbelt, Maryland.

The NIMBA Foundation produces the Miss Guinea North America scholarship pageant, to promote education among young Guinean girls in North America. The foundation has a comprehensive program called “The Guinean Girls and Women Empowerment & Leadership Program” (GGWELP). GWELP helps guide and contribute to the education of young Guinean girls in Guinea, provide scholarship funds and opportunities for the title winner of Miss Guinea North America, as well as create sustainable micro-economic projects for underserved women in various parts of Guinea.

Nick Zemura was born in Murewa, Zimbabwe. His mother, Lillian, was a schoolteacher and community organizer. Mr. Zemura attended Seke Teacher’s College under the auspices of the University of Zimbabwe, and then earned a scholarship to study at George Washington University in the US. After teaching in Maryland and Washington, DC public schools, Mr. Zemura founded Mirazvo Productions Multimedia, a HD movie production company based in the US, with offices in Harare and Canada.

Lillian Watson Values (LWV), founded by Mr. Zemura in 2011, continues the work of his parents, who provided financial support to many local children so that they could complete their educations. In Zimbabwe the students are charged exorbitant fees, but the schools have become dilapidated eyesores, and the teacher’s are de-motivated and the education system has become a major let down. LWV seeks to address and alleviate these problems so that the students can attain an education and have options. LWV will raise funds for educational purposes in Africa, implement programs to raise student achievement, pay fees to fund education, bridge the gap between Africa and the West so students can have opportunities, and promote growth through self empowerment programs (agriculture, fashion design, bricklaying, woodwork). LWV will offer student financial assistance, infrastructure building and maintenance, leadership and counseling, and motivation and success group seminars.

As Executive Director of Princess Cares and President of Princess Communications, Olufunke Adebonojo (Princess) is an accomplished communications and marketing executive and an experienced corporate advisor and global project manager with more than 20 years experience in public and media relations, marketing development, community relations,and corporate and social responsibility.

Olufunke has worked extensively in the U.S. and abroad with entertainment media giants such as BET Holdings, Multichoice and TRACE TV as well as with various media outlets and holds an aggressive record of achievement in managing all aspects of operations, marketing and publicity for key clientele in the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.  She has dealt extensively with community institutions and associations, developing grassroots projects and building strategic partnerships and relationships between corporations, organizations and associations through the U.S. and international marketplace.  In an effort to help promote trade and investment in Africa, she is also the north American representative for Emerging Africa Magazine and serves as manager for African Lifestyles television program. Her unique global experience stems from a diverse ethnic and cultural background as well as the years she spent living on several continents. She takes pride in values of excellence, integrity, loyalty and professionalism and provides all her clients with the 'royal treatment.'

A graduate of Howard University, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Political Science. While in college, she worked in the sports industry as a public relations assistant with Rose Elder & Associates. In this capacity, she worked closely with the executive director on the educational program, Elder Sports Management and Instructional Institute (ESMII), designed for minority youth interested and involved in sports marketing and management careers.  In addition to the educational program, she also assisted in screening candidates for the Lee Elder Scholarship Fund and helped coordinate the yearly Lee Elder Invitational.  Upon graduation, she went on to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.  

She is committed and passionate to making a lasting contribution to help build a better world for children, developing and preparing them for a bright future. The well being of a child is a primary focus for Olufunke who was a WorldVision sponsor for more than 10 years.  In this capacity, her passion for philanthropy and community service was taken to another level.  She established Princess Cares, a non-profit organization that aims to fulfill its mission to help meet the goals of underprivileged and vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS. Princess Cares will provide direct assistance to children orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS with the basic necessities of life, i.e. shelter, food, clothing, and educational assistance.  The organization will also seek to increase the awareness of and support the Millennium Development Goals of No Child Born with HIV/AIDS by 2015.

Olufunke feels that there is no reason why any child should be left behind regardless of their financial stature, background or education.The underprivileged and vulnerable children need assistance because they have been 'forgotten' by society.  She, along with other like-minded people, will collaborate with strategic partners and organizations to help alleviate the effects of poverty and fight HIV/AIDS through humanitarian action on the continent of Africa. 

An avid traveler, she has a pick up and go spirit and loves to experience different cultures as well as seek out new and exciting adventures. She loves to read, cook, work with children and plan events.   

There is a relatively small segment of leaders in the business world; individuals who seem able to build relationships, trust, and rapport with almost anyone, and then are able to broker the relationships and make connections between people, creating partnerships and alliances, and motivating forward momentum to ‘get things done.’
I am one of those people, and ‘getting things done’ and driving results—through collaboration, partnerships, and relationships—as a leader, is what am all about. Sulaika Issaka Samande is my name, I was born on the 18th/05/1988 to Mr. Issaka Samande and Mrs. Fauzi Issaka Samande, both natives of Tamale, Northern Ghana. I went through the various levels of education in Ghana, from Primary, through Junior High School to Senior High School and then to NIIT where I graduated with Hons Diploma in Information Technology(IT).I was a chosen group leader throughout my course duration, as a leader I worked tirelessly and  wholeheartedly  to represent my department.. I worked for National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) for two years my contributions centered on spearheading development and delivery of supply, I gained more exposure and firsthand experience on disaster response and relief to Victims of disaster.

I also served as a project manager for Samande Farmers Association for a year; I supervised and managed out-grower farmers of over 100 acres of mango plantation. My hobby has always been exploring possibilities for collaboration, partner with local and international organizations to help make a difference in society. Throughout it all, I have repeatedly proven my ability to lead through diverse and challenging situations am an excellent agent of change and have a track record of accomplishments that include the cleaning and painting of a school block from my own resources, provision of clean water to pupils of two basic schools.
